We cannot imagine a greater joy and honor for a new wedding blog than being featured on one of the biggest and most famous wedding sites in the world like Style Me Pretty!
The inspiration for this style shoot was for us and photographer Sotiris Tsakanikas the same as the one behind Getting Married In Greece, and it is none other than promoting Greece and its wonderful destinations, its exceptional wedding professionals and the high level of facilities to host any kind of wedding. Our specific source of inspiration was Athens and its rich history. The olive tree is the first tree that grew on the Acropolis and it was a gift from Goddess Athena. This style shoot is an ode to simplicity and the setting, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the area around the Acropolis. The scenery itself guided us towards the decoration style and the details such as the wedding cake, the flowers and the stationery. We chose white as our basic theme because it is the most elegant and aristocratic color while it perfectly matched the photoshoot concept. The wedding dress is in a simple ancient Greek style, in line with the hairstyle and make up.
