Today's wedding on Santorini shared with us by Phosart studio photography and cinematography is very special and unique. We really loved the next day session because there is something so rugged, so raw but paired perfectly with the distinct juxtaposition of fresh and romantic.
From the photographer: Helen and William came all the way from London, UK, along with their 60 guests, to have their lovely wedding in Santorini, Greece. From the moment we met them, we were taken away by their elegance and beauty. Their love was obvious and inspiring...
The preparation of William took place at Grace Hotel Santorini, at Imerovigli. The groomsmen were his best friends and were really helpful and supportive with William, eliminating every trace of stress and nervousness.
Helen, on the other hand, had her preparation at Fira, at Aesthesis Villa, a brand new villa that had just opened, making Helen the very first bride to use it! Her besties as her bridesmaids were in chic, light turquoise dresses, the main color of the decoration of the wedding. Helen was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful brides we have ever photographed.
The wedding took place at Santorini Gem with an amazing background of the Volcano, Caldera and Therasia. Besides the amazing decoration with the turquoise laces on the white chairs for the guests and the white curtains hanging from the gazebo the couple stood, the detail that the bride fell in love with was the crystal balls hanging on the sides of the gazebo with petals of real flowers in them! Each chair of the outside lines had a bottle with flowers in water hanging, so they stay fresh and alive under the May Santorini sun, creating a romantic alley for our gorgeous bride. The colors of the wedding were in complete harmony with the blue sky of Santorini and the white little houses.
The day started really windy, but fortunately everything turned out great. The guests created a buzz in the air with small talks, laughters and whispers that continued when the bridesmaids escorted by the groomsmen entered the alley and later on with the little girls in white throwing petals and "announcing" the entrance of the bride. When Helen arrived in front of the audience, after walking a path among exotic trees, everyone was speechless and absolute silence ruled all of a sudden.
Emotions were filling the air and the happy tears many. For their first dance at the reception, Helen changed to a breathtaking red gown. Our couple swayed under music and fireworks that colored the night.
The lovely couple, Helen and William, had their after-wedding photo-shoot at several unique locations in Santorini.
After the magnificent, elegant wedding they had the previous day and the pre-wedding photo session also, we completed the photography storytelling with this collection.
They walked at the alleys of Oia wearing both their amazing wedding gown and suit, went down to the beach with the breathtaking red rocks, being really relaxed and natural all the time in front of our cameras, giving us the most authentic movements, kisses and smiles to capture.
