INTIMATE WEDDING IN ATHENS RIVIERA
Today on the blog we feature a romantic and intimate, multiethnic wedding at Ktima 48 planned by the amazing team of Rock Paper Scissors events and captured by Fiorello photography. The wedding was in earthy and neutral tones full of magnificent flowers in white, shades of pink and purple as well as various wooden elements creating a shabby chic effect. The bride stunning in her simple but elegant wedding dress, proving that beauty lies in the simplest of things.
From the bride: After a beautiful Christmas in Athens, Greece, and welcoming the new year in Milan, Italy, we went to Paris, France… And Paris was…Paris. I think I fell in love all over again... On our last day in the city of lights, on the day of the Epiphany, Matthieu and I visited the Sacre Coeur, strolled around Montmartre, ticked off the Moulin Rouge and headed back to Le Marais to get ready for a superb dinner with Matthieu's Mom. After a lovely evening, we reached La Bastille; then Matthieu and I went for a walk around the Port de Plaisance de Paris-Arsenal, a mooring for vessels. When we were crossing its bridge, we stopped for a bit and, just then, Matthieu proposed... I think my knees got all a bit wobbly as I didn't expect it... As we were standing, holding hands, a man passed by us (he looked like a French Robert De Niro with a Santa Claus bearing), who then suddenly stopped and extended his arm towards us. Startled (hm, better yet, scared), I jumped back only to realize he was giving me a white rose... No, it was not staged… And, yes, I'm a hopeless romantic...
