It is true: The Coronavirus is now at our doors, no matter where we live or are planning to get married. However, there is no need to panic. On the contrary, we need to keep calm and stay strong and positive. There are smart and simple solutions for every situation and crisis.

Therefore, if you are a bride and you were about to get married in Greece, you do not need to cancel your dreamy destination wedding. You can simply postpone it for later, for a period where things will be calmer and everyone will be safer.

Today, we collected eight tips and pieces of advice for every bride who is about to get married and, due to the Coronavirus and the worldwide situation, does not know how to handle it. So, keep reading and everything will be OK.

1: Coronavirus: Postpone, Don’t Cancel

So the first tip is the following: Postpone, don’t cancel. Just to help you relax and calm down, you DO NOT NEED TO CANCEL your dreamy destination wedding in Greece. You just need to postpone it for a few months, until everything is better. Feeling relieved?

The islands will still be there, your vendors are definitely flexible, and your guests will still come and admire you on your wedding day. Therefore, there is no need to panic. You do not need to cancelanything. Just postpone your wedding day for a later date during 2020.

It is better you do not reschedule for the Summer of 2021, as many dates are already booked and the wedding professionals will be overwhelmed having double weddings to handle in a summer than usual.

The best thing to do is to reschedule for a later date during 2020, since it is predicted by wedding experts that many weddings will take place in September, October and November this year. Also, you may want to consider weekdays as opposed to weekends. This is a safe solution to make sure you will find a date and you will get married in Greece, as you had originally planned.

On the other hand, if your wedding were to occur in April, May or June, then you certainly need to postpone it and reschedule for a later date during 2020. However, if you are to get married after June, then you do not need to make any moves right now. It is better to let some time pass and see how things will evolve in the following weeks. If you are getting married in July or August, maybe you do not need to change something.

As we said before, there is no need to panic. Panic and fear will not solve the problem nor they will find you a solution. On the contrary, if you remain calm and positive during the whole crisis and the Coronavirus pandemic, it is way more likely to feel like you are on holidays at home!

Take a deep breath and remember that THINGS WILL GET BETTER. And soon. Stay at home, keep yourself and your loved ones safe, and have some quality time with yourself and your family.

Panicking and freaking out will surely not help you in any critical situation in your life. Being calm and positive, on the other hand, is the solution to every problem.

3. Coronavirus: Contact your Wedding Vendors in Order to Manage this Situation Now that you have calm down, it is time to take action and follow some more practical steps. Your vendors are the first people that can actually explain to you what is going on right now in Greece and around the world, and provide you with some valid solutions. Especially your wedding planner is the person you need to ask and get advice and help from right now, since they are the person who coordinates your destination wedding.

You also need to make sure that the things you have checked out of your list right now, are still OK and do not need to be done again or be rescheduled.

Therefore, contact your vendors, they will really help you.
