Greek island of Paros is among the most popular islands of Cyclades. Located in the heart of the Aegean Sea and is ideal for weddings and honeymoon as well as family vacations. Historically, Paros was known for its fine white marble, which gave rise to the term "Parian" to describe marble or china of similar qualities. The Parian traditional villages, particularly Parikia, Naoussa and Lefkes, are perfect samples of Cycladic architecture, with whitewashed houses, small blue-domed churches and paved streets. The beaches are famous for the crystal clear water and the white sand. On the south eastern side, the famous beaches such as Golden Beach and New Golden Beach, are particularly popular for windsurfing.
A must day trip from the island is the small island of Antiparos, with the crystal beaches & the relaxing and joyful atmosphere.
